What is Kling 4.0?
Kling 4.0 is a next-generation video model family for turning a creative brief into a directed scene. Write a prompt, animate an image, or combine images, video clips, and audio files used as voice references. The full model’s published specifications include 3–30 second clips, up to 10 keyframes, and Omni Reference. Kling 4.0 Flash focuses on faster iteration with 3–20 second, 720p output.

Kling 4.0 combines up to 15 assets, subject to limits of 10 images, five videos totaling 30 seconds, and seven subject elements. Reference audio is for voice only. The full model lists 3–30 second videos and 720p, 1080p, and 4K resolutions. Flash lists 3–20 seconds at 720p with 8-bit SDR, and supports text, image, and Omni Reference workflows. Do not assume every full-model capability is available in Flash.
Which references does Kling 4.0 accept?
The announcement lists images, video clips, voice references, and subject elements, with up to 15 items in total. Limits within that total include 10 images, five videos totaling 30 seconds, and seven elements, of which up to three are video-based. Audio references are limited to voice.
Can Kling 4.0 generate two-minute videos or HDR today?
